Friday’s Change Reflection Quote - Leadership of Change® - Communication

👏 Happy Friday!

Now that I have finished writing my books, I have a little bit of time to reflect on important change concepts and share some quotes.

✅ I will start with a simple concept that we all understand. Communication

? Are you communicating enough on your organisational change ?

👉 One of my coaches once told me that of all the things you will get criticised for while implementing organisational change or transformations, over communicating will not be one of them. I was told to communicate ten times more than you think is necessary and ensure you have a feedback loop. Constant communication is the magic element of organisational change implementation and the drumbeat of successful change, closing potential trust gaps between leaders and employees. Without constant, consistent, and effective communication with a feedback loop, the change transition will be slower and exhibit more employee change resistance. A good communication strategy and plan will align the workforce, speed up adoption and support benefits delivery.

Effective change communication is about getting the right message to the right stakeholders at the right time, in their frame of reference with a feedback loop
