Change disruption has become the order of the day, making it critical for organisations to have change management capability. Organisations need the flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing environment, improve and stay ahead of the competition. Delivering successful change needs much more than a standard project management approach, it also needs to consider the organisation, leaders and employees. Change is a transitional process with multiple challenges. Change management supports the transition from the current state ‘a’ to the future state ‘B’, minimising the performance dip, ensuring adoption and benefits realisation.

 

Who is the Foundation Course for?

Change Management Foundation course is for employees who want to develop working knowledge, key principles, approaches, concepts, tools and techniques of change management to support the organisation change, especially the change sponsor, change team leadership and change agents. This Change Foundation course is a prerequisite for the Change Practitioner course. The Change Management Practitioner builds on your foundation knowledge and provides you with enhanced skills to lead organisational change.

This course follows typical change programme implementation lifecycle steps:

~ Aligning the change to organisation strategy.

~ The importance of sponsorship, leadership and how change agents can help.

~ How previous change history will impact future change success.

~ How to develop a detailed Programme Change Plan.

~ The importance of communicating the change.

~ Performing a Change Readiness Assessment.

~ How to manage resistance.

~ How to develop the new skills and behaviours of the employees.

~ How to gain employee and organisation adoption.

~ How to sustain change and officially close the change programme.

Certification and Exam

We provide certificates for both those attending the course and for those who pass the open book exam of 30 multiple choice questions over 60 minutes.

a2B Change Management Framework®

This training will follow our a2B Change Management Framework® (a2BCMF®). The framework is a structured and disciplined approach to support organisations, leadership teams and individuals going through a change. This course uses the framework to discuss the key change management concepts, models, tools and techniques so that class participants are able to use them back in the workplace on their own change programme.
